Effective Ramp Safety Training
Shouldn’t Be Boring
NetEdge VR creates interactive experiences that keep attention high and safety at the top of mind
Aircraft Familiarization
Ramp Simulator: Aircraft Familiarization revolutionizes how ground crews learn and maintain operational excellence. This immersive VR training module allows trainees to explore detailed aircraft models, identify service points, and practice ramp procedures safely and consistently—all without relying on aircraft availability or weather conditions. Developed to align with industry and regulatory standards, the simulator ensures every trainee receives the same high-quality instruction, reducing variability across teams and improving compliance outcomes. Trainees can interact with full-scale virtual aircraft and ground service equipment, learning essential workflows in a realistic, risk-free setting.
Marshalling
Ramp Simulator: Marshalling Training modernizes how ground crews learn precise aircraft and equipment guidance. Using Mixed Reality passthrough, trainees practice standardized marshalling and wing walking motions in their real physical space. This approach allows learners to focus on correct body positioning, hand signals, and communication without environmental distractions or operational risk. Designed to align with industry best practices and regulatory standards, the simulator delivers consistent, repeatable instruction that builds muscle memory, confidence, and situational awareness for safe ramp operations.
Belt Loader Inspection
Ramp Simulator: Belt Loader Training combines guided equipment familiarization with structured inspection practice in a safe, Mixed Reality learning environment. Using passthrough MR, trainees explore belt loader components, controls, and safety features through virtual overlays while remaining aware of their real surroundings. The training then reinforces proper walkaround inspection procedures, teaching crews to identify hazards, verify equipment condition, and follow consistent inspection sequences without placing equipment into service. Designed to align with operational and regulatory standards, this module builds confidence, standardizes inspection quality, and prepares trainees for real-world belt loader operation.
GSE Driving Training
NetEdge VR’s driving simulations provide step-by-step GSE training in a safe, structured virtual environment. Trainees learn proper vehicle operation, positioning, and maneuvering procedures through guided workflows that reinforce correct habits and decision-making. By breaking complex driving tasks into clear, repeatable steps, our simulations build confidence, consistency, and operational readiness—before crews ever operate equipment on the ramp.
XDriVR
XDriVR is NetEdge VR’s patent-pending Mixed Reality driving system designed to eliminate VR motion sickness while preserving the effectiveness of immersive training. By combining real-world passthrough with a dynamically expanding virtual driving view, XDriVR allows trainees to practice complex vehicle operations comfortably and safely. Users remain grounded in their physical environment while interacting with virtual driving scenarios that adapt naturally to head movement, enabling situational awareness without discomfort. This breakthrough makes VR driver training accessible, comfortable, and scalable for all trainees.
Flight Deck Trainer
Flight Deck Trainer for Ground Crew
Flight simulators have long been a staple of commercial pilot training and provide critical support for that industry. Expensive and limited, they are rarely pressed into service to support ground and maintenance crews. This training platform provides cost-effective, reliable training for a wide-variety of needs. Easily adjusted to different training scenarios and cockpit configurations, it can be available at employees’ locations and supported within the application itself by senior training staff. Staff can learn through unlimited iterations, while their progress and success metrics are collected, scored, and made available in real-time.
Immersive Experiences and Education.
Theological Library.
The Lanier Theological Library, a 17,000 sq. ft research library in Northwest Houston, Texas, is the inspiration for this beautiful Virtual Reality Theological Library. This application captures the physical beauty and serenity of the original in a stunning representation that allows the user to be immersed in the peaceful environment. Users are also able to view and handle a selection of volumes from the library, viewing information about the books and, in some cases, reading selections while in the virtual environment.
Stone Chapel.
This stone chapel, a reconstruction of an ancient Byzantine church in ancient Cappadocia, was built on the Lanier Theological Library grounds. Based on photos of church ruins first made available in 1909, as well as a later analysis published at Harvard, it is a testimony to church history as well as Christian and Jewish scriptures. This model brings the beauty and majesty of the chapel to the user in an incredible immersive application. With access to faithful reproduction of physical elements and on-demand commentary and translations, the user experiences the modern structure, the ancient ruins on which it is based, and the incredible interior artwork, in a way that only Virtual Reality can provide.
